Inlawed breaks his maiden last night at Kempton and two more runners today

31 Aug 2017 | Ben Harris

Inlawed broke his maiden last night at Kempton under a fine front running ride from Jamie Spencer. He jumped well out of the gates and was immediately hurried to the front, he then showed a tenacious attitude to fight off all challengers in the home straight to score by a length at the line. This was Inlawed's first run on the all weather and we are hoping that this will be the key to him.

Today we sent out two runners and the first of which is Masterfilly who runs at Bath in the Octagon Consultancy Handicap, a class six event over one mile three and a half furlongs. She like yesterday's winner Inlawed has been frustrating as she shows more at home than what she has actually achieved on the racetrack. The ground on her last start was against her and today's underfoot conditions will be much more to her liking. The favourite looks to have very solid form but we are hoping she produce a career best this afternoon. She will be ridden by Pat Cograve and is drawn in stall two of nine.

Our other runner today is Art's Desire who goes to post at Wolverhampton for a seven furlong handicap at 20:40. She too is still a maiden and looking for her breakthrough win but she was unlucky last time out when getting no luck in running at this track. She does again have a wide draw this evening but we are hopeful she can overcome this and break her maiden this evening. She will be ridden by Liam Keniry and is drawn in stall ten of eleven.
