Today we send out three runners from Kingsdown Stables on a busy day for the yard for the time of year. Our first runner of the day comes at Lingfield as Gunnar Julius makes his handicap debut in the seven furlong maiden handicap at 13:10. He has been handed a wide draw in stall twelve but with a handful of non runners he will not be so wide and he will be ridden by Luke Morris. He has been a disappointing horse to date but we are hoping the step back up in trip to seven furlongs will see him fair better as well as handicap company.
Our next runner of the day comes at Kempton as Legal History goes to post in division one of the one mile novice contest at 16:45. He shaped with promise on his debut at this track and he has come on plenty for that initial experience so we are looking forward to seeing him on the track this afternoon under Liam Keniry.
Finally in division two, half an hour later than Legal History, Petruchio makes his debut at 17:15. A son of New Approach out of a useful mare called The Shrew, Petruchio has been shaping up well at home and although he will improve significantly for the education we are hoping for a promising run.
