A busy day with 7 runners including Indian Blessing in the Group 1 at Keeneland

A busy day ahead with 7 runners.

Indian Blessing had a good trip over to America and being such a seasoned traveller now she takes it all in her stride. She is flying the British flag today in The First Lady Group 1 at Keeneland. She is in great form and Gary could not be happier with her. The ground will be very quick which is not ideal and it’s a large field, so she will need some luck in running but we have the services of Jamie Spencer and I’m very hopeful of her running a huge race on what could be her last career start.

At Newmarket, Gallic runs in the 1.40pm Fillies Handicap. She was very disappointing last time but has come out of that race well. She wouldn’t want to much more rain to fall and will need to put her last run well behind her to get back to winning ways today.

Closer to home at Ascot, Maygold runs in the 2pm Listed Stakes. She is really well I think the track trip and ground should ideal for her. If she’s in the same form as when she won at Haydock last time, I think she will go very close.

Came From The Dark was very impressive when bolting up at Haydock last time and a repeat performance would obviously see him first across the line again today. He will love the ground at Ascot in the 4.50pm Handicap so I’m hopeful.

At Wolverhampton, Inflamed runs in the 6pm Nursery Handicap. He is improving quickly and I see no reason why he cannot continue his progression here tonight.

Bold Suitor makes his debut in the 6.30pm. He is a smart 2yo colt, but very much one who will be better next year. My 2yo’s always come on a lot for the experience but I’m expecting this horse to run with a lot of promise.

Beguiling Charm looks amazing for the time of year and is in very good form. I’m dubious about the trip for her today at Wolverhampton in the 8.30pm, but if she stays she could run a big race.

Best of luck to all connections today and the team at home! Below is Indian Blessing's rug kindly given to us by GBRI!
