A busy Friday with 7 runners

Today we have a busy day with 7 runners at Doncaster and our local track Newbury.

At Doncaster:

Beloved (1.30pm) has is really well and I’m looking forward to seeing her make her debut. I think she will be very babyish but hopefully she will run well and handle conditions. She’s a lovely filly for next year and whatever happens here she will gain valuable experience.

Jonah Jones (2.40pm) is in as good a form as I have had him all year and I’m really looking forward to seeing him run today. His last piece of work was very pleasing so I am hopeful of a big run, conditions should be fine for him.

First Charge (4.25pm) is very well in himself and improving all the time. He’ll enjoy conditions and I am hoping to see him run a big race today.

Bucephalus (5.03pm) is seemingly in very good order at home and looking very well for the time of year. This looks a good spot for him at Doncaster and I think if he puts his best foot forward he will have a great chance in a very open Handicap. The track and trip should be ideal so there are no excuses today.

At Newbury:

Alabama Boy (1.40pm) has been training really well and I’ve been very happy with him. His work has been getting better and better so I’m hoping that he can make a pleasing debut, but I don’t see him troubling the judge in these conditions on his first start.

True Scarlet (2.50pm) is ready to get back on the track today and makes her handicap debut. She has been off the track since February and I’m sure will come on from having a run today.

Molls Memory (4pm) could have a great chance if coming back to her best in what looks an open race. She should love conditions and I’m really hopeful that Jamie can get the best out of her as she has been slightly disappointing this year so far.

Best of luck to connections, pictured below is Beloved (Frankel), owned by David Ward who makes her debut today.
