A busy weekend with 7 runners

We are looking forward to a busy weekend ahead with 7 runners across the two days at three meetings.

Today at Goodwood:

Amniarix (2.05pm) is in great shape and I’ve been pleased with her work. On figures this looks a bit of a tough ask but I hoping that she can convert her all-weather form to the turf in which case she will run a huge race.

Mountain Peak (3.10pm) took a while to really start showing his old self in his work at home but his last few gallops have been very pleasing and he heads in to this race in great shape. He should love the ground and he looks fabulous so I’m hoping he can bounce back to his best and he can have another productive and enjoyable summer.

Came from the Dark (2.25pm) is in super form and deserves to be lining up in this Group 3. He will have to improve again to win this race but I wouldn’t put it past him, the question mark will be how he handles the undulations of Newmarket, rattling down that dip, but he will certainly love the uphill finish for that last furlong and hopefully that will see him fly home strong.

Great Ambassador (4.15pm) is in great form and I’m really looking forward to seeing him make his turf debut for us. I think the ground will be in great condition in Newmarket land I’m hoping that he can continue his progression here today.

Semper Augustus (2.10pm) is very well in himself and has done some pleasing work at home. If he applies himself he is more than capable of winning a race like this and I see no reason why he won’t apply himself, so I’m hopeful of a big run and hopefully he can get off to the perfect start. He will undoubtedly improve for the run but he is straight enough to do himself justice this time.

Sunset Bay (3.15pm) has been working really well and I’ve been very pleased with her this Spring. I can’t wait to see her run and I think this looks a great opportunity for her. My dream with her is The Sandringham at Royal Ascot, so hopefully she can finish in front today and we can map a route from there.
