Four runners today

We have four runners today at Goodwood, Sandown and Leicester. 

Desert Doctor is ready to go and is in great form. I was really looking forward to this race until the rain came but I am still hopeful that he will handle it. He is training with all his usual enthusiasm and looks fantastic so I am hoping for a big run.

Kingboard Star (pictured) is in great order and I am really looking forward to seeing him back on the grass. It is a shame the rain has come at Goodwood but we don’t know that he won’t handle the ground although my gut feeling is that he will be better be on fast ground. 

Miss Scaletta I have declared to run at Newmarket as well in case the ground goes too soft at Sandown but preference is to run here and she obviously coped with just good ground at Goodwood although we do feel the faster the ground the better. 

Lowndes Square looks well and I have been very happy with him lately. I think stepping him up to a mile will hopefully see him get his head in front and it looks the perfect race for him to do that.
