We have a busy day with four runners, three at Haydock and one at Goodwood.
Glorious Charmer runs at Haydock in the 3.20pm over 6f. He is ready to go and has been in good form. I think the sound surface and level track at Haydock will suit him and hopefully he can get his season off to a good start.
Assimilation also heads to Haydock in the 5.00pm over 1m. He has had a good break and is fresh and well. I’m looking forward to seeing him on grass after being so consistent on the synthetic surfaces. I think a mile at Haydock will suit and this looks a good opportunity for him to break his Maiden so hopefully he can beat his old rival Songkran.
Our final runner at Haydock is Ransomed Dreams in the 5.35pm over 1m2f. He seems really well in himself and looks fantastic. I’m hoping that the step up in trip at Haydock will suit him along with the fast ground.
Duckett’s Grove runs at Goodwood in the 3.30pm Listed 3yo race over 1m3f. He is in great order and I’m very excited about seeing him run. I think he is going to be a horse who will get better and better as the year goes on and he will relish the step up to 1m3f. I also think he will be better on turf, especially when the ground is fast as it is at Goodwood.
Fingers crossed for a succesful day and once again a big thanks goes to our team on the road today Gary, Jess, Monika, Westy and Kishore.
