Seven runners today to start a busy weekend

We have 7 runners today, 5 at Haydock and 2 at Ascot. Please see below for Ed's thoughts:

Colouring makes her debut today at Ascot in 2.20pm Novice Fillies over 6f. She is ready to go and should enjoy the ground today. Like most of mine, she will come on a lot for the run, so I’m just hoping that she runs with promise.

Old Friend is next up at Haydock in the 2.30pm 2yo Maiden over 7f. He is also making his racecourse debut and has done a few really pleasing pieces of work. This is a red hot maiden and is always a very competeitive race so we will see where we are with him. He has shown potential to turn in to a very nice horse in time so we will see how he gets on in this company.

Desert Doctor is next up back at Haydock at 2.55pm in Handicap company over 6f. He is in fantastic form and will love the soft ground, so I can see him running a big race with the conditions and trip both being to his liking.

Came From The Dark is next up at 3.30pm at Haydock. He is dropping back to 5f for the first time, which I’m not totally convinced by, but he has definitely got the speed and the ground will be ideal for him.

Molls Memory runs next at 4.00pm at Haydock over 7f. She was a bit unlucky to be beaten last time out  and remains in great form, the conditions and trip will be ideal for her today. She has a great chance.

Iconic Knight then takes his chance at Ascot at 4.40pm over his ideal trip of 6f in what looks a very competitive handicap, he’s in superb form and I think he will run a big race today.

Ginistrelli is our final runner of the day, lining up in the 5.05pm Handicap over 1m6f at Haydock. He steps up to this trip today which it looks like he has been crying out for and I think he will like the soft ground . He has been disappointing and now has a lot to prove, so I hope the extra distance will get him back on track.

Fingers crossed for a successful Friday. Picture is of COLOURING with Hannah Fraser on board.
