Weekend runners
Amniarix broke her maiden impressively last night at Wolverhampton under Tom Marquand. This was her third run and congratulations to her owner and breeder Bjorn Nielsen. Iconic Knight also put in brave performance finishing second in the Class 4 Handicap for owner John Moorhouse.
We have two runners this afternoon at Lingfield.
First up Parachute in the 2.30pm Novice. He is extremely well and looks fantastic for the time of year. I’m very much looking forward to seeing him run at Lingfield. Unfortunately he has been dealt a terrible draw which will make life harder than it would otherwise have been, there are a couple of Godolphin horses in there with solid enough form but I’m very hopeful that Tom can overcome that bad draw and get a half decent position.
Sunday Star (3.40pm) is in great order but she is also drawn terribly. I would be confident if she was drawn in 2 or 3 and this will undoubtedly make life hard. She looks magnificent and I am keeping everything crossed that Andrea can overcome that and draw and get a half decent position to give her every chance.
Best of luck to connections. Pictured below is Sunday Star with Hannah at home back in the summer.
