A big weekend ahead
We have a very exciting weekend ahead with 7 runners.
Today at Goodwood:
Caradoc came out of his Newbury race very well and I am very excited at seeing him at Goodwood where he ran so well last year. I am a little bit concerned that the race comes soon enough for him but he is fresh, looking fantastic and moving well.
Piffle makes her seasonal debut at Goodwood and fingers crossed she can get back to winning ways after being slightly disappointing on her last two starts.
Primo Bacio is in great form and I am really looking forward to seeing her back on the track. Fingers crossed this will be a good start to the season for her
Over at Newmarket:
Came From The Dark is in great form and I am really looking forward to seeing him back on the track after so long. He is training really well and is moving great so hopefully he can run close to his best although I expect him to improve for this run.
Tenaya Canyon came out of her Bath run very well and I have not had to do a lot with her since other than freshen her up. She looks great and hopefully with a bit more luck she can show how good she is. I think the ground will help her see out the extra distance so I am hopeful for a big run.
Tomorrow Dreamloper lines up at Newmarket in The Dahlia Stakes. She has been training really well and I am thrilled that Kieran is riding having got on so well with her last year and hopefully she can get her season off to a flyer. It doesn’t look the strongest of renewals but Sir Michael Stoute's filly looks a typical one of his who looks to be getting better and better with his patient approach but hopefully so is ours!
At Salisbury, Bling On The Music makes his seasonal debut and is in great form. He has an abundance of speed so I don’t think the trip will be an issue at all and I am hoping that he can get his career back on track tomorrow.
Best of luck to connections and the team this weekend!
