A busy Friday and Saturday

We have an exciting few days with 9 runners across today and tomorrow.

Today at Newbury:

2.08pm - Sassy Belle heads to Newbury for her debut which I am really looking forward to seeing. I think she can run well in what looks quite a hot Novice but this is the ideal starting point for her and she can hopefully learn a lot and have a good experience at the same time as showing some of her potential.

4.28pm Queen Of Comedy looks fantastic and I am hoping that she can make up for her unlucky run at Newbury a few weeks ago. This looks the ideal spot for her with just 3 opponents and I am thrilled to have Tom Marquand on board.

5.05.pm - Zulu Tracker seems in really good order and came out of his Bath win very well. He has got a great opportunity tomorrow at Newbury and is the only 3 year-old in the race so I am hoping he can back up his win at Bath and continue his progression.

Up at Haydock, Piffle runs in the 4.10pm. Obviously she has behaved terribly this year but hopefully she can behave herself at Haydock today. If she behaves well then I think she can run a big race.

On Saturday:

At Newbury:

1.15pm - Immdaad makes his debut and is a nice colt but I think he is going to need a few runs to really switch on as he is a very laid back horse at home. He has had a couple of away days at Kempton and I am hoping that he will run with promise in the knowledge that he will improve a great deal from the run.

2.56pm - Great Ambassador has come on for that disappointing run at Royal Ascot and I think we should take our chance  in the Hackwood and see where we are. It is a very good race as one would expect but on his best form I know Great Ambassador can be very competitive so I am hoping for a big show.

3.30pm - Union Court is extremely well and is very fresh and full of herself. It is great to be running in such a valuable race with a chance of picking up some good prize money. I think she will run much better than she did at Ascot, especially if she jumps better and I am hoping for a big performance although strictly speaking on ratings and weights she has got quite a bit to find.

At Chester - Parachute lines up in the 3.41pm Apprentice Handicap. He is in cracking form at the moment, very fresh, happy and he looks fantastic. I am really pleased we are having a go at this valuable handicap and thrilled that we have Saffie on board. It is a wide open handicap and as always around Chester with a full field we are going to need a lot of luck but I am hoping for a big run.

Up at Haydock in the 7.30pm - Kingofhell I am looking forward to seeing back over 7 furlongs and I think this is a good race for him. It is quite competitive but he is in great form and I think the small field will really suit him. Fingers crossed he puts his best foot forward in which case I think he is capable of winning although there are a couple of horses who are progressing well and are in good form.
