A well deserved win for Fantasy Believer

Fantasy Believer recorded a well deserved win at Newbury yesterday afternoon under Tom Marquand. Congratulations to his owners David and Chris Stam, and to Demi who rides him at home. Snuggle also put in an impressive performance at Haydock for Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds to finish a close second.

Today we have three runners at three meetings.

Makarova has made the trip up to York for the 3pm Fillies Handicap. She looks a picture of health and I have been very happy with her lately. She looks to have a good chance in my mind, getting so much weight from these more experienced but more exposed older fillies.  Hopefully she can continue her progression in a nice valuable handicap.

Kingofhell is drawn well in 2 today at Sandown (2.20pm) and it looks a good spot for him so I hope he can convert that all-weather form to the turf. He is fresh and well and it looks an open handicap so hopefully he can run a big race again under Kieran Shoemark who won on him last time.

Peggoty heads to Goodwood this evening for the 6.59pm Handicap. A bit of cut in the ground will be ideal and Saffie Osborne knows her well taking off 3lbs so I am very much hoping for a big run.

Best of luck to connections.
