An impressive win for Dreamweaver at Newcastle last night. Three runners today
Dreamweaver wins impressively for Owner/Breeder Olivia Hoare at Newcastle races last night under Hector Crouch, continuing the teams run of fine form. This consistent horse is the first foal out of Livia’s Dream, who was the very first filly Ed was sent to train when he started out. He is improving all the time making him a very exciting prospect for the rest of the season and beyond.
Today we have two runners at Sandown and Gallic heads to Yarmouth:
Thunder Flash runs in the 2.20pm 2yo Novice over 1 mile under Richard Kingscote. He has been in great form since his debut at Windsor. He should be much more streetwise for that experience and the stiff mile at Sandown will be ideal, so I’m hoping for a much better show although it is a very hot race.
Balzac has been working well on the whole and I’m hoping for a promising debut today in the 2.55pm 2yo Novice over 7f. The favourite is obviously going to be very hard to beat, but otherwise it looks fairly open.
Gallic is in great form and I’m looking forward to seeing her have a shot at some black type at Yarmouth this afternoon in the 2.45pm Fillies Listed over 1m2f. The ground will be ideal, as will the track and trip so hopefully she can run well in a competitive Listed race.
Best of luck to connections and fingers crossed for another succesful day ahead! Pictured below is Dreamweaver, groom Kishore, owner Olivia Hoare and Hector Crouch.
