Assimilation lines up at Meydan today
No luck last night with Sherpa Trail at Kempton and we just have the one runner today a little further from home at Meydan, Dubai. Assimilation has already run twice on the dirt over 1m, finishing in 5th and 4th places whilst staying on very well both times. He steps up to 1m2f today for the first time in his career and I really think the extended distance will suit him down to the ground. It does look a competitive race as you would expect, but this horse never stops trying and I am sure he will run a big race once again for his owners Berekley Greenwood, Mathew & Juliet Cestar and Colin Dale.
Our Travelling Head Lad Gary has joined Kajsa and Royal Intervention in Saudi this week, so our Assistant Head Lad Matty Hicks has taken over the care of our horses in Dubai and couldn't be happier with Assimilation.
