Blackheath and Molls Memory run at York today
Our first two runners at York this week for The Ebor Festival are Blackheath and Molls Memory.
Blackheath runs in the 3pm Handicap. He is in good form and steps up in trip to a mile for the first time today. He is drawn well and has a York specialist in Paul Hanagan on board, so if he stays then I think he could run a big race in what looks a wide open handicap.
Molls Memory heads for the 4.50pm Fillies Handicap over 7 furlongs. Her recent work has been excellent. She has a bad draw to contend with here in what is a fiercely competitive fillies handicap and wouldn’t want to the ground to get too quick, so I hope she has some luck on her side today.
Best of luck to connections today and fingers crossed for a succesful day. Thank you to Kelly and J Singh who have travelled the horses up there safely. Pictured below is Charles and Blackheath, who he rides at home.
