Four runners today at three meetings
Today we have four runners at Newbury, Wolverhampton and Newmarket.
First up at Newbury, Baba Ghanouj heads to post in the 2.25pm Handicap over 1m under William Buick. She won’t want the forecast rain to fall before her race today. I have always held her in higher regard than what she has produced on the track so I’m again hopeful she will put her best foot forward today. Also at Newbury, Queen Aya runs in the 4pm 2yo Nursery Handicap over 5f. She is in great order and William Cox takes another 3lbs off which is always useful. It’s a competitive race but I think she the ground will be fine for her and I’m hoping for a big run.
Over to Wolverhampton, Dark Silver runs in the 3.15pm 2yo Nursey Handicap over 7f under Luke Morris. He is stepping up to 7f for the first time in what looks a trappy little race. It may well be very tactical so we will see how it pans out and hopefully we have some luck.
And finally, at Newmarket, Capriolette has been in great shape since finally getting back to form at Nottingham. She runs in the 7.20pm 3yo Handicap over 1m3f. The forecast rain is a positive for her and I hope she can continue winning ways.
