Four runners today
Today we have four runners at York, Ffos Las and Newmarket.
First up is Caradoc in the 1.55pm at York. He came out of his Windsor win extremely well and makes a quick turnaround to be here today, but he seems in great shape and I’m sure he is itching for a step up in trip. He is drawn well and I hope has every chance of landing a great prize in what looks a wide open handicap.
At Ffos Las, Grimsthorpe Castle heads for the 2.15pm Novice. He is really well in himself and I’m expecting him to leave his debut well behind him, as that was a very disappointing run. Hopefully he makes a big step forward.
Molls Memory has re-routed to Ffos Las today for the 2.50pm after the ground became to quick for her at York yesterday. Hopefully the travelling won’t have inconvenienced her too much as she is in cracking form and has a good chance of getting her head back in front today on her favoured conditions.
Finally, Ginistrelli runs in the 4.25pm Handicap at Newmarket. He has been working well at home and I have freshened him up for his return to the racecourse. Things haven’t gone to plan for him this year and we have gelded him since his last run so I’m very much hoping to see him bounce back to form today.
