Hannah rides her first winner!

It was a brilliant day yesterday as our Apprentice Hannah Fraser recorded her first winner when steering Nat Rothchild's Sky Bright to victory at Haydock. Hannah has been with us for almost 3 years now since leaving the British Racing School and is a valuable member of the team so we were all delighted to see her get her first winner!

Today we have three runners at Haydock and we have sadly had to withdraw Piffle from her intended race at Newmarket due to the rattling ground there.

Bling On The Music is ready to make his debut and is a 2yo I like a lot. He is a lovely big horse with a good attitude and I’m really hoping for a promising debut today.

Mountain Peak is as fresh as I’ve had him all year I think, he looks great and is very happy and well. This is a competitive race full of lots of old opponents and I’m sure he can run well, certainly better than he did last time all being well. He is just one run short of making it into double figures on wins so hopefully he can get the big 10 today!

Mount Mogan looks fantastic and I’m looking forward to seeing him run here where hopefully he can back up his win at Kempton last time. He has not yet won on grass but if he is ever going to I think it will be in this race so there really should be no excuses.
