Molls Memory wins for the third time at Newbury! We have 6 runners today
We are so proud of Molls Memory for wonderful owner / breeder Andrew Buxton. Winning this race yesterday for the third consecutive year at Newbury. She loves the mud and she is one of the most adored horses in the yard and that I’ve trained. Huge well done to Mr Buxton and all the team.
Today we have 6 runners at Doncaster and Newbury.
At Doncaster, Hafeet Alain is in flying form and I can’t wait to see him run today on what appears to be his favoured soft ground. His work has been very good and I’m hopeful that he retains all his ability and enthusiasm on his first run back in the UK.
Canoodled looks fantastic and is seemingly in very good form. The conditions are in her favour and I think she’s got a great chance of backing up so I’m hopeful of her chances today.
Closer to home at Newbury, Kindness goes in to this race in good order and this looks a good spot for her. I’m unsure of how she will handle the ground and that will be a big factor in how she runs today.
American Star is a big price and although he ran disappointingly last time, he had his excuses. I think he will enjoy conditions and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him be very competitive today.
True Scarlet will love conditions today and I’m hoping that she continue her progression before having a shot at some Black Type. She will need to produce a career best effort to win today but she is going in the right direction so I see no reason why she can’t do so.
It is exctiing to see Piffle try and gain some black type in a Listed race today. Obviously it will be interesting to see how she goes on this heavy gound, it looked very hard work yesterday. It is not the strongest of Listed races, and if handling the ground it looks a good oppurtunity for her.
Best of luck to all connections, pictured below is Molls Memory after her win yesterday, led in by Anser and ridden by Tom Marquand.
