Saturday runners
Today we have two runners at Newbury and one at Wolverhampton this evening.
Caradoc lines up in the 3.30pm at Newbury under Ryan Moore. He is in fine form and it looks a very warm race. The favourite is officially 5lbs well in so will be heard to beat, but I think the drop in trip to 10f will be no problem for Caradoc and he will love the ground and the galloping nature of Newbury will suit him as well.
Juan Les Pins makes his debut in the 4.05pm 2yo Novice ridden by P. Cosgrave. He has been working well and is a nice colt in the making. He is ready to make his debut and I’m hoping that he will run with promise in what looks potentially a warm Newbury Maiden. He’s a big good looking colt and can only improve, but I’m hoping for a good debut like his brother 12 months ago.
Over at Wolverhampton, Brigham Young runs in the 6.20pm Handicap. He drops back to 6f tonight for the first time which shouldn’t be a problem for him as he has been showing so much speed. I think he will be right up in the mix at the business end of the race.
Pictured below is the very handsome Caradoc and Charles.
