Starman and Coconut make it a double on Saturday

We had a great day on Saturday with two impressive performances by Starman and Coconut.

Starman put in a very smart performance at Doncaster under Tom Marquand to win for the second time on just his second start. He is a big horse and we didn't do much with him last year as he was a very immature 2-year-old. David and Sue Ward bred him and he's only the second one they have bred after Sunday Star who is a very good filly in her own right. He looks a very exciting colt and we can't wait to see what is next for him.

Coconut also won nicely at Newbury under Jamie Spencer. She is a well bred filly who has come close on her previous three starts and looks an exciting prospect for her owner Nat Rothschild.

Our Apprentice, Hannah Fraser also excelled on Saturday at Doncaster to finish a brilliant 4th on her first ride in public. She partnered Laurence Bellman's Starfighter who really looked after her and gave her a great experience. We are all very proud of her and look forward to her next ride.

Well done to all the team at home! Pictured below is Starman with groom Elda.
