Three fillies running at Newcastle today

We have sent three fillies north to Newcastle today all of whom should hopefully have a decent chance under Gerald Mosse. Arendelle (pictured) gets us underway in the Class 5 fillies' handicap over an extended mile and a half and she is drawn in 4 of 9. Despite breaking her maiden over a mile, today's trip is much more like what she is bred for and providing she settles in the early stages of the race allowing herself to finish then she should run a big race.

Gallic makes her handicap debut in the Class 4 nursery over a mile, she has been very consistent in four starts in novice and maiden company finishing in the first four on each occasion. She hated the soft ground at Haydock on her last run and hopefully she can get that all important win to her name this afternoon.

Finally Catoca runs in the Class 5 fillies' handicap over a mile, she is drawn in 8 of 9. Having broken her maiden at Kempton she was then very disappointing at Wolverhampton last time out for no apparent reason so we hope she can put that run well behind her and continue her progression here.
