Today's runners: Shug and Smiley Bagel at Lingfield

Two runners head to Lingfield today:

Shug runs in the 3yo Handicap at 2pm over 1m. He is in great form and I would be full of confidence about tomorrows race if it were not such a bad draw. The cheekpieces will hopefully help keep him straight at the business end of the race.

Smiley Bagel heads to post in the 4.40pm 4yo Handicap over 1m4f. He is in good order although I still don’t think he is quite as his peak given his coat is not there yet, however he is fresh and well in himself and will no doubt run his usual solid race over his favourite course and distance.
