Tuesday runners at Newmarket

Four horses head to Newmarket today for the Craven Meeting:

Beguiling Charm (1.15pm Maiden Fillies, 1m) is ready for a run but will no doubt come on for it significantly. Hopefully she can run a nice race before qualifying for Handicaps and we can then go from there.

Blackheath (1.50pm H'Cap, 6f) is in great form and ready to make his seasonal debut. He looks fantastic, as he has all winter, and I can’t wait to see him run on his favoured fast ground. I think the stiff 6f at Newmarket will really suit him and the likely fast pace will help him settle, as no doubt he will be quite fresh.

Desert Doctor (1.50pm H'Cap, 6f) looks to be in great order - fresh, well, looking and moving great. I am looking forward to seeing him back on grass at Newmarket. I think the ground should suit and hopefully he will run a big race. It looks a wide open Sprint Handicap and I think he has every chance.

Sunday Star (3.35pm Nell Gwyn Group 3, 7f) is in great form and has not missed a beat all winter. She heads to Newmarket for what looks a re-run of the Oh So Sharp and  I think she has every chance of being right in the mix. She is very fit, extremely well in herself and hopefully she can get the all important bold black type.

Best of luck to all connections today, and a big thank you to our travelling team Gary, Hannah, Jess and Madan who left early this morning!
